Silverlake, CA

When thinking of where I feel most connected with nature, my mind immediately goes to our family cabin in Northern California. The two cabins shown above are our family cabins that my great grandfather and his brother built, and the rest of the above drawings are the many memories that we have built there since. There are countless stories about bear sightings at the campfire, mud pancake cooking on the beach, crawdad catching on the dock, waterskiing talent development, monopoly and card game rivalries, double inter-tubing battle injuries, and pranks between the cousins’ tents. There is no gas or electricity, so our trips to the cabin are the truest form of unplugging and connecting with family, friends, and nature.
